Hello, I'm Dr. Crewdson

I teach Grade 9 Science, and Grade 11, 12 Chemistry!

I have an extensive background in Chemistry after having worked for over 15 years as a Chemist both in Canada and Europe before becoming a teacher. I do my best to help every student unlock a deep understanding and appreciation of Science.

Fun Fact: The first nuclear reactor in the world was a naturally occurring phenomenon: Oklo Nuclear Reactor.

I have a Kinesiology Degree. I am passionate about the human body and how it interacts with the world. I love genetics, immunology, and homeostasis. Seeing students learn about why we need to know stuff and how it applies to life is my passion. I am married with 2 sons and a Weimaraner. I love to be active, and I coach the Swim Team and Track & Field at Lucas.

I have a degree in Astro/Geophysics and have always been fascinated by planetary volcanology.

Hello, I'm Mr. Prater

I teach Gr 11 and 12 Physics!

My goal is to create opportunities for students to actively engage with concepts through experiments and hands-on projects. My favorite part of physics is that it can explain the behavior of everything, from the largest galaxies to the smallest atoms. Outside of school, I pursue personal design and engineering projects, including a part-time business producing carbon-fiber paddles for competitive canoe racing worldwide.
