Navigating Digital Information

Digital Literacy can be defined as:

“Digital literacy includes learning how to find, sort, evaluate, manage, and create information in digital forms” (Webroot). When broken down digital literacy basically means being able to navigate digital media texts and being able to fully utilize these resources. "

The YouTube series - Crash Course: Navigating Digital Information - is a series that aims to help young people to develop the tools to navigate the internet with confidence, knowing the information they find is accurate and reliable. Author John Green has partnered with MediaWise, The Poynter Institute, and The Stanford History Education Group to develop the 10 part series.
