Use the most up-to-date Google Chrome browser. Download it here: google.com/chrome
Use a connection of at least 10Mbps. Check your connection speed: speedtest.net
Enable permissions in the browser for video/microphone use. The procedure is here: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2693767
Make sure you have deactivated ad-blockers or antivirus in your browser extensions.
Make sure you do not have any other video calling platform open (i.e Zoom, Google Meet etc.)
SOME COMMON BUGS AND HOW TO SOLVE THEM ⬇️
Audio and video buffering / not loading
Most likely cause of issue: bad connection / temporary connection error / user connection fluctuation
Fix: Press CTRL + F5 during the session. Wait patiently for 30 seconds until it refreshes. No information is lost from the active session.
No Camera / Microphone connected
Most likely cause of issue: Permissions not enabled in browser.
Fix: Check browser permissions and allow both mic and camera.
Unable to share a PDF document
Most likely cause of issue: File too large / file more than 10 pages
Fix: Do not upload the whole document, upload in blocks of 10 pages.
Issue: Low quality performance of classroom (e.g. the video is stopped while using the whiteboard).
Most likely cause of issue: poor internet connection of the user
Fix: disable video while using this tool. Close other programs and tabs other than GoClass.
Access page upon joining session blocked
Most likely cause of issue: antivirus software
Fix: Temporarily disable antivirus (for the duration of the session) or enable URL permissions within antivirus software.
