Music gives us strength and joy during these challenging times.

Making music envelops our minds,

provides space to express our feelings, and connects us to each other.

Listening to music transports our bodies and souls.

Read a June 1, 2020 letter to families from Gordon's Head of School, Noni Thomas López, Ed.D

The Choral Ensemble was touched and humbled by her entry into the message about what our community and the entire nation are living right now - the latest in a long line of historical echoes that should have propelled change, but haven't. It's time to "raise our voice." The work has already begun at Gordon, but it will require white people to listen, join in the fight to overhaul the systems that have been in place since the beginning of this country's founding, and live in the uncomfortable spaces of accountability and change.
