Gemini for Forms

I wanted to share a shortcut I’ve been using to build Check Your Understanding quizzes for formative assessments.

Using Gemini, you can generate assessment questions that target specific strands. This automates feedback for students. There are two ways to do this

Google Classroom Step by Step:

1. Access the Gemini tool within Google Classroom. Choose the "Generate a Quiz" option and input the core details:

1. Target grade level to set the difficulty.

2. Number of questions, such as 5-10 questions.

3. Topic or skill. Clearly describe the topic, for example, "6th grade photosynthesis".

4. Check the learning objectives

5. Select the type of questions

6. Review, modify with a prompt or Export to the classroom
