Bonjour! Bienvenue! Welcome!

In Room 13, your child is taught by Madame Plumley and we welcome Mlle. Schmidt to Franklin and to our class. It is my philosophy that school and home are interconnected; we work together to create an environment that will encourage creative thinking, risk taking, growth mindset and foster a love of learning.

Our goal is to be as exclusively French as possible; we will be speaking, listening, reading and writing in French, and we'll be working in Math together in French with Madame Plumley. Mlle. Schmidt will be teaching Visual Arts and Social Studies.

The students in our classes worked hard to co-create success criteria for the six learning skills you see on the progress reports and report cards. This is how students know they are being successful, and we refer to these learning skills nearly every day. Please take a look and see what we think is a very important part of your child's learning.
