Banking/Bill paying
Weekly review of mail/email – open, sort, and analyze
Validate and pay bills timely
Prepare checks for signing and mailing or Pay bills online as applicable
Prepare and make bank deposits as needed
Contact payees if bills are in error, negotiate fees as applicable
Reconcile bank statements
Track monthly expenses
Budget creation and Budget to Actual reporting
Monitor and reconcile monthly credit card statements
Organize documents for tax preparation and track deductions
Monitor bank accounts to prevent overdrafts if needed
Maintain documentation/instructions for how to pay bills
Maintain or create a filing system
Interface with family members and other professionals as needed
Medical Expense validation and payment
Review Insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB) before payment of medical bills.
Track out-of-pocket medical expenses for tax purposes.
Transition assistance (Death of partner, Divorce, Young Adults)
High-level financial overview
Financial Coaching and assistance with setting up and maintaining a budget
Assist with contacting Social Security if applicable
Assist with closing/re-establishing accounts, sending death certificates, etc.
Banking and bill paying.
Work with existing providers or make referrals to accountants, attorneys, financial advisors, etc.
Assistance when moving/downsizing
Cancel/transfer bills.
Change of Address with Post office and vendors (Insurance companies, banks, credit cards, subscriptions, etc.)
Other financial duties as necessary
