I am a passionate self-starter who enjoys meeting new people and solving problems. I have deep compassion for the senior community and those dealing with managing transitions in life. I am a graduate of Indiana University, Kelley School of Business – Bloomington with a degree in Accounting.
In 2016, my older brother became seriously ill and was unable to keep up with his mail and medical bills while receiving treatment. Besides prayer, the only other thing I could do for him was to take care of his finances and track his medical expenses. I had previously worked for a Healthcare IT company and knew a little about health insurance and claim processing and knew a lot about accounting. Accounting and Finance have always been natural strengths/gifts of mine.
After witnessing what my brother went through, I realized I could use my accounting and finance expertise and my passion to help people and turn that into a business. In 2017, I started Good Works Consulting, LLC.
I have always felt that the Senior Community is underserved when it comes to Daily Money Management resources. Sadly, this population is also often targeted for financial scams. My goal is to provide helpful, needed services that utilize my gifts and life experiences. I love combining my accounting experience with years of project management to serve others.
