Is at least three years of age by September 1 (for 3 year old classes) and four years of age by September 1 (for 4 year old classes) of the school year,

is potty trained, and needs minimal assistance while using the bathroom.

What preschool programs are available?

We offer three different preschool options for children at Goodhue School.

M-W-F 8-10:30 a.m. 4 year old preschool (must be four by September 1st)

What can help me decide which program to enroll my four-year-old in?

There are many factors that you may want to consider when you are thinking about enrolling in four year old preschool.

Transportation: Do you have transportation to and from preschool every preschool day. If your child has an older sibling and is enrolled in the four year old class they may ride the bus to or from school with that sibling.

Nap: Does my preschooler need a nap still? If your child still needs a nap, the afternoon section may not be the best fit as it runs from 12:40-3:10.

Price: The more your child comes and attends preschool a week the more tuition will be. All classes offer a scholarship form that can be completed and turned into your classroom teacher.

What is the teacher to child ratio?

1 Teacher and 1 Para in each classroom, other paras added if needed.  There is a Special Education teacher available, as needed, as well.

12 (15) maximum for 3 year old classes

18  maximum for 4 year old classes

What age does my child need to be to attend Preschool?

All children must be the age of 3 by Sept. 1 to be in the 3 Year-Old Program.  All children must be the age of 4 by  Sept. 1 to be in the 4 Year-Old Program.
