Once a year, the Goochland Day Foundation brings the Goochland Courthouse to life! With your participation, we are able to welcome our neighboring kids, students, families, and friends to come together to gaze at the unique and beautifully decorated floats, and cuddly animals, and move to the beat of the drums and instruments played by talented bands during the Goochland Day Parade and Festival! GDF is so excited to kick off the parade at 10 am from Goochland Courthouse Green - 2938 River Rd W. disbursing at the Goochland Elementary School. At the conclusion of the parade, slide on over to the Goochland Sports Complex (GSC), 1898 Sandy Hook Road where you will find the festival from 11 am to 3 pm! We expect participants to accept full responsibility for their own actions keeping in mind a family oriented event and its organizers are not responsible for injuries, losses, or damage of any kind. Goochland Day is a fun-filled family event hosted by an independent and private not-for-profit foundation.
