Factory Workers During the Industrial Revolution
The early stages of the Industrial Revolution saw many injustices against factory workers. They were treated poorly, had low wages, and worked long shifts that could be 12-16 hours long. The conditions of the factories were also hazardous, with dangerous machines and unsanitary equipment. The workers faced excessive hours with low wages, which eventually led to changes in labor laws due to the overwhelming amount of work with poor payment. Workers with more skills were able to have more opportunities and better conditions
