What impact does the bond election have on taxpayer?

School District taxes on resident homesteads (except for subsequent improvements) are FROZEN in the year a taxpayer turns 65 years of age and will not increase as a result of this Bond Election.

The disabled are also able to have their school taxes FROZEN. It's important to note that the taxpayer must apply for the exemption. This application must be made to the Goliad Appraisal District.
