The horse behind the name. 

KEE Golden Hawk is the namesake of Golden Hawk Ranch and the heart of its “family horses first” philosophy. A beautiful buckskin Morgan, Hawk has spent his life demonstrating the temperament, willingness, and versatility that make the breed so special. 

Hawk joined the family at two, when Isabella, known as Bella, was just three. They grew up together, building a partnership that has carried them through countless experiences. Whatever Bella wanted to try, Hawk was ready to join her.

His adventures have included reining, carriage driving, dressage, gaming, drill team, and leadline. From the precision of dressage to the excitement of gaming, Hawk has shown how much one Morgan horse can do—and how much a willing equine partner can mean to a family.

A partner for generations.

Some of Hawk’s most meaningful work has been introducing children to horses. He carried Bella in leadline classes when she was little, and today he carries her children, continuing a family tradition with the same horse who helped start it.

At 28, Hawk is still going strong and teaching the next generation about the Morgan horse. His story reflects what Golden Hawk Ranch values most: a horse that can share adventures, explore new disciplines, and remain a beloved family member through every stage of life.
