Congratulations and welcome to GoGuardian! We're thrilled to have you join the team and can't wait to see all that you accomplish. But for now, you’re probably wondering, what's next?
There are some key things we need you to do ASAP, so that things are ready to go on your first day. This site will provide you with a checklist of those items, as well as a preview of your first week and some information to help you get up to speed on GoGuardian.

Before Your First Day
Important Tasks Prior to Your First Day
Background Check: look for an email from AssureHire containing a unique link for launching your background check.
HR System Account Creation: GoGuardian utilizes ADP as our HR management software. Look for an email from the HR team with a unique link to access the system and create your account.
New Hire Paperwork in ADP: once you've set up your ADP account, complete your personal profile, set up direct deposit for your paycheck, complete your payroll tax withholding forms, and complete Form I-9 Part I, authorization to work in the US.

First Week
Your First Week
Your first week will be exciting and action-packed. Here's a quick look at some of the key sessions you'll be attending:
Company Orientation: business overview, our evolving culture, and important resources such as GGConnect, our internal communications and resource platform.
Benefits & Payroll Orientation: Key information on how you'll be paid, how to sign up for benefits, exciting perks, and performance coaching,
Product Demo: Live demo of the GoGuardian products.
Product Past, Present, and Future: Our product history, the impact of our current products, and what's in store for the future.
Important Dates
Here's a list of paid company holidays, including our two-week year-end holiday break. In addition, you can find our bi-monthly pay schedule here.
Company Benefits
We have a number of company sponsored benefits and you'll find out more on your first day. However, here's a quick summary.
Your Computer!
Our IT team is already configuring your company laptop and prior to your first day, will ship it to your home address. On your first day, your very first meeting will be meeting with IT. They will walk you through the setup process, provide your login information, ensure you're able to connect to our network, etc.
Connecting with Guardians upon joining
You'll have a handful of ways to engage and connect with Guardians:
GoGuardian Buddy: You will be assigned a GoGuardian buddy on your first day. In addition to your Manager, this individual can be a great source of support as you become familiar with GoGuardian and settle in. Your buddy will be reaching out to you once you start!
Slack Social Channels: There are many to join based on your interests and hobbies. They're a great way to meet co-workers who share a common interest. Popular channels include: #parents, #pets, #cooking, #gaming, #stocks, #boardgametime, #gardening #tvshows, and more!
Meet & Greet: An app in Slack that randomly connects you to three other Guardians, every three weeks, to meet for 30 minutes. This is a terrific way to continually meet more and more people across the company.
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): We have a number of employee founded and led ERGs including AAPI, Black and Brown, LGBTQIA+, Neurodiversity, Trans Umbrella Group, and the DEI Book and Film Club.

Our Headquarters
Our headquarters office is located at 2030 E. Maple Avenue in El Segundo, CA. GoGuardian has embraced becoming a hybrid workplace and working at the office is currently voluntary. Due to Covid-19 concerns and safety, the office is operating at a limited capacity and full vaccination is required.
