As an IB student I have really enjoyed completing my CAS. After the initial learning curve of navigating ManageBac I successfully started my CAS journey. The frequent CAS coffees we had through LVI really helped this process as I was able to collaborate with my peers and teachers to solve any issues we had. One thing I am particularly grateful to CAS for is giving me the push I needed to restart bouldering. I used to climb when I was younger and have wanted to restart for a few years and since going back for CAS I've remembered why it was my favourite sport! The collaborative project element of CAS has also taught me many skills I wasn’t expecting to learn as an IB student and made me realise the levels of communication that are needed to organise a project. Finally, the reflective nature of CAS is something I thought I would resent however it has actually been one of the most beneficial aspects. Not only have these reflections made me improve much faster but it has also allowed me to have a greater appreciation for what I have done.
