Welcome!
I'm glad you're here. I haven't taught English 11 in years and I'm really excited to teach it again. Normally, I do only do Public Speaking and College Writing classes, so it's going to be fun to get back to some literature for a change!
One thing you'll quickly learn about me is that I see my students as real people. You all have your own set of skills, abilities, and challenges. My job is to help you learn. That means that you'll sometimes mess up and i's my job to help you then, too.
I ask for the same respect and patience in return. I will always give you my best effort at everything I do in class. I'm going to occasionally mess up, though. (And I'm a control freak perfectionist, so it really hurts to type that.) I look forward to all the things you'll help me learn when I do.
