Melissa Patry

Welcome to Fourth Grade!

My name is Melissa Patry. This is my eighteenth year of teaching in the Goddard School District. I have taught both third and fourth grade. I absolutely love my job and consider myself lucky to work with children on a daily basis. I graduated from Wichita State University then received my master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Baker University. I am an avid Chief's fan and dedicate every Sunday to watching football and rooting them on. I also love to travel in my spare time. My favorite places to visit are the Caribbean and Bermuda. I also can’t pass up trout fishing at Lake Taneycomo.

I have been married almost six years to my husband, Scott. We have two boys. Cooper, who we call our "Mini Coop", is four years old. Brody is our youngest who just turned two over the summer. We call him our "Brody Bear". Life is definitely a little crazy with two little boys. 

I look forward to getting to know each and every child in the classroom. I know it will be a positive learning experience for all!
