15% - Homework/Daily Work
25% - Laboratory Work
60% - Tests/Quizzes
Your current grade accounts for 85% of your semester grade and the Final Exam will account for 15% of your semester grade.
SKYWARD GRADE CODES
I use the following codes in Skyward.
NHI - This indicates that the assignment was never handed in and counts as a zero.
LATE - Assignment was handed in after the due date.
ABS - Student was absent on due date.
LATE WORK POLICY
All assignments are due the day after being assigned. Late work will be docked in the following manner.
1 day late - 10% off
2 days late - 50% off
3+ days late - 80% off
Students may turn in an assignment at any time after this time but will only receive 20% of the grade they would have received.
If an assignment is turned in after we have gone over the answers in class, they will only receive 20% of the grade regardless of number of days late, this may be indicated in Skyward with an AW code.
