Today's Focus: Welcoming the Class of 2030 & new members of the Class of 2029 – Today is dedicated to helping YOU, our newest students and your families, feel welcomed, supported, and excited to join the Church Farm School community. 

12:00-2:00  Arrival & Registration  

12:00-3:15 Move-in to Cottages

• Time to move in, unpack, shop locally, and visit the CFS School Store

• Cottage faculty are available to welcome, answer questions, and help you settle in

3:15 Families Return to Campus

• Families who leave campus during move-in must return by 3:15 PM for the afternoon welcome activities. 

• Students should change into school dress before the 3:30 PM Family Welcome Session.

3:30-4:30 Family Welcome & Information Session (Alumni Hall)

• Welcome, information, and Q&A

• Please find your advisor and sit with them 

4:45-5:15 Welcome Chapel Program 

5:15-5:30 Receiving Line

• Meet your CFS Faculty & Staff

5:30 Parents depart 

5:45-6:45 Dinner for students & Residential Life Faculty 

EVENING PROGRAM 

6:45 PM Report to Alumni Hall 

7:00 - 8:00 SOAR KICK-OFF!

• • SOAR Team introductions, Ice Breakers & information about the week

8:00 - 8:45 "Mondae Sundaes" 🍦

• Scholars & adults return to the Dining Hall for ice cream sundaes

9:00 - 9:30 Return to cottages

• ORAH/Introductions/Tour of Cottage (All scholars)

9:30 PM Finish unpacking & settle-in/time to shower

10:30 PM All Freshmen in their rooms

11:00 PM Upperclassmen in their rooms

💡REMINDERS:

• Tomorrow's dress code is casual

• Always wear your ID card/Landyard

• You'll receive your school-issued laptop tomorrow

  • • If you want to bring your backpack, you should. You can carry your laptop and charger in it

• You'll take the Math Diagnostic test tomorrow on your laptop. 

  • • Bring your calculator if you have one. CFS can also provide you with one if needed. 

• You will take the IMPACT test tomorrow on your school-issued laptop
