A scope and sequence is a list of the academic standards and the marking period that they will be taught and mastered with proficiency. A scope refers to the topics and areas of development within a curriculum, and the sequence is the order in which those skills are taught. Learning Targets are created by using the standard and pulling out key details for what students should be able to do / show for mastery of that standard. At Carrollton we word our learning targets as: Students Will Be Able To (SWBAT). If you have questions on learning targets please reach out to your child's teacher.
How to read:
1.Find the grade and subject your child is in - This is labeled at the top of each chart
2.'P' means that students should be 'proficient' in that standard by the end of that Quarter
3.Learning Target states what your child should be able to do / show of that standard to fully represent their learning
