T TESS Observation (50%)

The Texas Teacher Evaluation & Support System (T-TESS) is the state adopted teacher appraisal instrument. TIA establishes a priority emphasis on the Instruction (Domain 2) and Learning Environment (Domain 3) domains of the T-TESS evaluation. To be eligible for a TIA-designation, teachers must earn a rating of proficient or higher on each of the eight dimensions measured across Domains 2 and 3.

Teachers will receive training this summer on how to create meaningful SLO's for the upcoming school year and have checkpoints throught the year with campus adminsitrators to discuss student growth and progress. The summer training will count as comp days for the 2023-2024 school year.
