Meet the Director

     Morgan Welk (Marquess)

This is Mrs. Welk's fourth year as the director of the Brownsboro Golden Girls, and her sixth year teaching. She is an Alumni from BHS and graduated in 2014. While at BHS Mrs. Welk was a member of the Golden Girls and earned the position of Sophomore Lieutenant and Served as Captain during her Junior and Senior years. From 2014-2016 she attended Tyler Junior College where she was a member of the Internationally Famous Apache Belles. She left junior college with an associates degree in general arts then transferred to UT Tyler where she was a member of the Spirit squad. She finished college with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. Mr. and Mrs. Welk welcomed their son Westley to the world this past October! Mrs. Welk is so excited to be in her hometown and leading the Golden Girls to another fabulous year!
