24 Hour Playfest

Typically held at the end of the school year in May, 24 Hour Playfest is an event organized by Brownsboro High School's Bear Theatrix club in which 4 to 5 10-minute shows are written, directed, rehearsed, and performed all within the span of 24 hours.

Acting or working tech is open to anyone from grades 6-12 reguardless if you are enrolled in a theatre class or not! By signing up and filling out a sign-up form below, you are guaranteed a role or spot in one of the shows! Nobody gets turned away! 24 Hour Playfest is a great opportunity to get on-stage or backstage experience quickly, and to meet and collaborate with peers, older students, and directors/teachers who all share the same passion of theatre!

Playwrighting and directing are limited to BHS Bear Theatrix 11th/12th grade club members only.
