The Dashboard is the startup portal of Atom. Easily access any Portal of Atom from the Dashboard, and revert back to the Dashboard from any Portal by clicking the Atom logo. Main features within the Dashboard include the Map, Filter Bar, and Filter Bar Result List.

Search for inventory, work, and team members using the search bar. You can also select "See all results with" to view all results in list format.
Note: This is not a location search.

Access the Knowledge Center at any point within Atom. The Knowledge Center contains information on Atom's application functionality, helpful tips, frequently asked questions, client-specific procedures, and best practices.

Create work or inventory using the Global Create icon.

Navigate to any portal using the Menu icon (or "waffle" icon).
Note: The icon to the left of the waffle shows which portal you are currently in.

Click your profile photo in the top right corner to view your user profile or log out.

Use the Search Maps bar to search by address, latitude/longitude, or name. As you begin to type, the search bar will start to predict locations for ease-of-use. The map will pan to your selection, but a pin will not appear.
Click the My Location icon in the Search Maps bar to pan the map to your current location.
Note: This feature requires the user to have their device's location turned on.

Click the Map Styles icon to change the appearance of the map. Styles include: Default, Silver, Dark, and Retro.

Select Tool
Click the Select icon to select items on the map.
Select an asset, work order, or user on the map to view the item's details.
Once an item is selected, the detail tab will provide more information about that item.
Grab Tool
This feature allows you to grab multiple items simultaneously.
Note: The Grab Tool does not work at a high zoom level when clusters are visible.
Click the Grab icon to select inventory, work, and team members within a fixed radius on the map.
Zoom so that clusters are not shown, then hover over your items.
Click on the map where your asset items are. A gray circle will appear.
The identified items are shown to the left of the map.
Click the Grab icon again to exit this feature.
Draw a Radius
Click the Draw a Radius icon to view the results within an established radius.
Click on the map to establish the center of the circle, then drag the radius out to the desired distance.
View the Area Details window at the bottom of the map, and the list of results to the left of the map.
Click and drag the outline of the circle to change the location. The results will repopulate to the left side of the window in the Group List area.
Close the Area Details window to clear the circle from the map.
Draw a Polygon
Click the Draw a Polygon icon to view results in an established area of interest.
Click the map to establish the vertices of the polygon, then double click on the map to close the polygon.
View the Area Details window at the bottom of the map, and the list of results to the left of the map.
Click and drag the outline of the polygon to change the location and update the results.
Click and drag the points on the polygon to change the shape and size of the polygon.
Close the Area Details window to clear the polygon from the map.
Measure Distance
Click the Measure Distance icon to measure the distance between two or more points.
Click on the map to establish the points on the line with one or more segments (polyline).
Double click on the map to establish the last point of the line or polyline.
Note: Using the satellite view allows you to view topographic features when selecting the start and end points of the line.

Satellite View
Click the Satellite icon to change the map view, and click the Map icon next to it to return to the default map view.
Google Traffic
Click the Traffic icon to toggle Google Traffic on and off. Google Traffic works in both the default and satellite views.
Google Places
Click the Google Places icon to display Google Places. Google Places works in both the default and satellite views.
Note: Google Traffic and Google Places can be displayed together.

Click the Street View icon (pegman) and drop it onto the map to view the placement location in street view.
Click to pan around in street view, or click the back button to return to the map. Click, hold, and drag to see a 360º view.

Click the + and - icons on the bottom right of the map to zoom in (+) and zoom out (-) of the map.

Map Layers include Inventory, Work, Team, and geospatial layers. Each of these layers can be toggled on/off to display the desired information on the map.
Note: The Map Layers and List View pane can be collapsed by clicking on the arrow to the right of the pane.

You can:
Toggle the Inventory layer on/off to view or hide all inventory.
Individually select or deselect distinct asset types to to update your map view results.
Select all or clear all asset items.

Toggle the Work layer on/off to view or hide all work.
Individually select or deselect distinct work types to update your map view results.
Select all or clear all work items.
Note:
You can only view work in your station based on your permission level.
The briefcase color indicates the work status.
