Get Goating! is a youth agriculture program built around 4-H values, hands-on learning, and responsible livestock care.

Members work with project goats while learning the practical skills needed for successful 4-H and fair participation, including care, health checks, handling, showmanship, and record-keeping. Lessons are grounded in science-based agriculture education and taught in a supportive, age-appropriate environment that emphasizes responsibility, observation, and ethical animal stewardship.

The club is designed to help youth grow confidence in the barn and beyond it. Through real work, guided practice, and mentorship, members learn that good animal care, good sportsmanship, and good decision-making go together.

Get Goating! supports the next generation of agricultural leaders by giving young people the tools they need to care for their animals well and represent agriculture with knowledge and pride.
