3rd Grade

We talked about the popular trend of buying used/antique furniture from flea markets, and giving it a fun redesign with paint and new hardware. We imagined our own furniture flips and collaged them into a room complete with hardwood floors!

Moving into the realm of 3 dimensional art, we used folding, cutting, and gluing techniques to create these awesome lizard sculptures! They were a big hit, and on display in the hallway in their own jungle habitat.

We used sharpie marker to create skyline silhouettes, and watercolor paint to bring the scene to life with warm color skies and cool color water in the foreground.
