Second Grade Art

We looked at VanGogh's Sunflower Paintings. We used oil pastel and tempera paints to create our vases of flowers!

A very long project, we used tissue paper, balloons, and mod-podge to create our lanterns!

Students used shaving cream and liquid watercolor to create a marbled paper that was then turned into our "ornaments". We used a shading technique to make our circles look like glass spheres! We used oil pastels to create our branches.

"Swedish heARTS!" We used watercolors and a weaving technique to create these beautiful paper hearts!
