Brookside Adventure Course

Our Project

The students of Mr. Vance and Mrs. LeVeck’s classes of 2019-2020 are doing a community service project and have decided to make an adventure course at Brookside park. The adventure course is being made of seven different obstacles. They are spread out in an area of the adventure course, and will have signs to direct you to them. Our class is collecting money as well as fundraising and designing the layout of our adventure course. We made the adventure course because there was no major obstacle courses in Ashland Ohio, and we thought this would be something fun people could go to and enjoy. We were inspired by other adventure courses around Ohio, including the Glacier Ridge Challenge course in Central Ohio park. For one of our fundraising activities we are planning a race across Ashland County with several different activities and challenges within the race, as well as a children's race at Freer Field.
