Our Mission:

The growth of technology that we are seeing now is taking a toll on literature as a whole. More and more children are growing up without the pleasure of reading. For this project, we hope to distribute book libraries across Ashland, have a yearly Community Night that involves free books, and a read aloud program between Reagan and Edison Elementary.

We are distributing books to local businesses and residences to encourage reading among those with little access to books. We wish to get young children into reading and keep the older in the habit of doing so. In this way, our Free Book Library will change the community for the better. Unlike the program run by the Ashland Public Library, there is no requirement to leave books behind, but the book taken will need to be returned.
