The Granada-Münster Discussion Meeting (GMDM) is an opportunity for researchers studying fluid-mineral interactions at all scales, from nanoscale to large-scale processes. This space is perfect for discussion, new collaborations and friendly interactions between participants at all career stages.
The 11th GMDM Conference was held in 2024 in Granada,Spain.

All participants must register in order to attend the conference, regardless of whether they submit an abstract.
There is no registration fee for the meeting.

Presentation Limits
Each author may be the presenting author of only one oral communication and one poster communication.
Abstract Submission
Deadline: October 27th, 2025Format: PDF only (no template required)
Length: Maximum of 350 words
Submission: Abstracts must be submitted exclusively by email to Christine V. Putnis (putnisc@uni-muenster.de)
Specify whether the abstract is for an oral presentation or a poster.Provide the title of the abstract.
Presentations are 15 minutes + 15 minutes discussion time.
Posters will be digital - one page poster on the screen at a designated time (no paper posters).
GMDM 12th to be held in Münster
The meeting will begin at 14:00 on Wednesday 26 to give time for those able to travel on that day. The following 2 days will be full days 9:00 - 18:00.
The conference will be held at Schloss Münster
Schlossplatz 2, 48149 Münster, Germany
The 11th GMDM was held in Granada in 2024, featured a total of 25 oral presentations and 7 poster presentations.
These sessions shared the latest research and ideas, presenting the results of the investigations.
