The Granada-Münster Discussion Meeting (GMDM) was established in 2013 through the collaboration between the University of Münster (Germany) and the University of Granada (Spain). The meeting brings together researchers to advance understanding of fluid-mineral interactions at all scales, from nanoscale processes to large-scale Earth systems. Through presentations, open discussions, and networking, GMDM fosters knowledge exchange and the creation of new collaborations in a friendly and inclusive environment. This space is perfect for discussion, new collaborations, and friendly interactions between participants at all career stages. Held annually in Münster and Granada (except 2020), it has gained an international reputation for promoting scientific progress and networking.
