The Wicked Workshop was an immersive three-day musical theatre experience centered the hit Broadway musical Wicked. Participants worked with experienced instructors to learn vocal techniques, staging, and movement while rehearsing iconic material. The workshop concluded with a showcase performance of “Defying Gravity,” allowing students to share what they had learned with family and friends. The experience emphasized confidence, collaboration, and the excitement of musical theatre, giving students a memorable opportunity to perform Broadway-inspired material in a fun and supportive setting.
Disney in Concert: Jazz Gala
Disney in Concert: Jazz Gala was a special community event featuring performances by Tahoma Jazz Choir members, who presented jazz-style arrangements of beloved Disney songs. The concert highlighted students’ musical skill and artistry while offering audiences a fresh take on familiar favorites. Designed as both a celebration of the community and a fundraising event, the gala brought families, supporters, and music lovers together for an evening of entertainment, connection, and appreciation for student talent, while raising funds to support future choir and performing arts programs.
The TPAB Theatre Camp was a two-week program made up of two separate week-long camps, each culminating in a fully staged musical performance. During one week, students rehearsed and performed Frozen KIDS, while the second week focused on The Lion King KIDS. Campers received hands-on training in acting, singing, and movement, working closely with instructors to learn music, choreography, and staging in a supportive environment. Each week concluded with a final performance for family and friends, giving students the opportunity to showcase their hard work, build confidence, and experience the excitement of performing in a complete musical production.
