Math Homework:
Incredibles Math Homework Clip: Has anyone ever experienced something similar? 🤓
*I will not be assigning daily math homework.
*Certain math units will require content to be studied for quizzes and I will make you aware of those as they come up.
*Students should be practicing their multiplication facts nightly. Please see the Reflex Math information below in the Resources section-this is a fun and engaging way to practice.
Math Graded Classwork:
For the most part, student math classwork will be submitted, commented on, and graded via Canvas.
Grades will be entered into Skyward & Canvas simultaneously and in a timely manner.
See the newsletter home page for how to set up notifications in Skyward to get automated emails regarding your child's grades.
*The current week's assignments are found on the Math Canvas Home Page in the Assignments Board.
*The previous week's assignments are found in the "Last Week's Math Assignments" Module.
*Math assignments will be published daily so that the calendar remains accurate for students-
the Canvas Calendar is a great resource to utilize.
*Assignments will be written down daily in student planners.

Reflex Math:
Dear Parents,
Students will log into the Reflex Math program through class link. Reflex math is a fun and engaging program that will allow students to gain fluency with their math facts. Students will either start out with addition & subtraction or multiplication, depending on their individual needs. Students were given this Reflex Log In Slides Link with instructions on how to log in and get started. The goal is for students to work in Reflex math at least 3 days weekly, receiving a “green lIght” each of those days for completing the game/math facts set.
I am linking the Milestone Fact Pyramid that will be in the Reflex Math program if you would like to help your child track their progress at home. Students will also glue this in their math journal and track progress at school as well. At this time the parent account is not able to be set up-I am waiting to hear back from technology to see how to remedy this.
I am excited to see my students grow in their math fact fluency!
