Description

Gyeongsang National University in Jinju is currently seeking applicants for its Winter English Camp.  The camp runs from January 11th to January 22nd 2026. There is a mandatory orientation day for teachers on January 10th.  Elementary School students from around the southern part of the peninsula will participate in a variety of events where they will use English in practical ways. The camp is designed to increase English-speaking confidence and motivation through active participation in themed events.

Candidate Qualifications

• Experience teaching young learners in Korea

• All F visa holders are welcomed

• No E-2 visa holders will be accepted

• Currently living in Korea with a valid visa

Teacher Responsibilities

• Teachers might be required to create some materials to supplement camp materials

• Daily meetings will begin at 8:30 am in the Teacher’s office to prepare

• Approximately 8 classes daily 

• Classes 40-50 minutes followed by a ten-minute break

The Department of Linguistics at Seoul National University invites applications for an open-rank, tenure-track position starting September 1, 2026. The appointment will be made in the area of Syntax/Syntax-Semantics interface. We seek applicants whose work connects strongly with other areas of linguistics and/or adjacent fields. ### Role Description:

You will be teaching English to children aged 3–8 using a dynamic, play-based approach. For younger children, parents will attend class alongside their child. Lessons focus on storytelling, music, crafts, and movement to make learning fun and engaging.

Soongeui Elementary School is a prestigious private elementary school located near Myeondong Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. We are seeking experienced native English teachers to join our team for the 2026 academic year. Applicants should be able to design and personalize lessons that support students’ development in various language and literacy skills. 1. Conditions

Location: 10, Sopa-ro 2-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul

Contract Period: March 3, 2026 – February 28, 2027

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Teaching Hours: 18 classes a week (40-minute classes)

Salary: KRW 2.2 – 2.6 million per month (based on experience and qualifications)

After-school Classes: 5 classes per week (2:20 p.m. – 3:05 p.m.), KRW 75,000 per class

2. Benefits

4 weeks of paid vacation in January and 2 weeks of paid vacation in August and February

Housing Allowance: KRW 600,000 per month (No deposit provided by the school)

National Health Insurance and Pension: Provided with a 50/50 contribution split

3. Requirements

A native speaker of English with at least a Bachelor’s degree (Education, English, or Linguistics preferred)

Currently living and working in Korea (Applicants from overseas will not be considered)
