Description
Gyeongsang National University in Jinju is currently seeking applicants for its Summer English Camp. The camp runs from July 26th to August 6th 2026. There is a mandatory orientation day for teachers on July 25th. Elementary and Middle School students from around the area around Jinju will participate in a variety of events where they will use English in practical ways. The camp is designed to increase English-speaking confidence and motivation through active participation in themed events.
Candidate Qualifications
Experience teaching young learners in Korea
Native English Speaker with a University degree
All F visa holders are welcomed
No E-2 visa holders will be accepted
Currently living in Korea with a valid visa

Teacher Responsibilities
Teachers might be required to create some materials to supplement camp materials
Teachers will be tasked with classroom and activity management

Daily meetings will begin at 8:30 am in the Teacher’s office to prepare
Approximately 8 classes daily
Classes 40-50 minutes followed by a ten-minute break
1-hour break for lunch
1-hour break for dinner
We will work on the weekend
Room and Board
Teachers will be provided a dormitory room in our student dorms
Teachers will be provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the student cafeteria
Compensation
3 Million Won (before taxation) upon completion of contract

The EFL Program (efl.kaist.ac.kr) at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST)
(https://www.kaist.ac.kr/en/), South Korea, is seeking applicants for one full-time EFL faculty position.
KAIST is Korea’s most prominent and world-renowned institution for science and engineering. Most
courses at KAIST are taught in English, so English language education is highly emphasized. Our campus
is located in Daedeok Innopolis (https://www.innopolis.or.kr/eng/), Korea’s leading R&D center, situated
150 km south of Seoul. High-speed Korean bullet trains (KTX and SRT) connect Seoul to Daedeok in just
50 minutes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master’s degree in TESOL or Applied Linguistics;
• Native-like fluency in English;
• Minimum of two years of college-level teaching experience
• Hold an E-1 or F-series visa (the selected candidate must change their status if holding a
different visa type)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience teaching EFL courses for science and engineering students
• Experience developing and teaching AI-integrated EFL courses
• Experience teaching scientific writing
• Experience developing and teaching CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) courses
DUTIES: Teaching 12 hours per week during the spring and fall semesters, along with 2 additional

met during the spring or fall semesters, teaching during the summer or winter will be required without
additional pay.
