Gyeongsang National University in Jinju is currently seeking applicants for its Summer English Camp.  The camp runs from July 26th to August 6th 2026. There is a mandatory orientation day for teachers on July 25th.  Elementary and Middle School students from around the area around Jinju will participate in a variety of events where they will use English in practical ways. The camp is designed to increase English-speaking confidence and motivation through active participation in themed events.

Candidate Qualifications

Teacher Responsibilities

KAIST seeks instructors for a 3-week English Camp in January 2027

The EFL Program in the School of Digital Humanities and Computational Social Sciences at KAIST is looking for camp instructors with excellent teaching and educational backgrounds. Instructors will be teaching academic English skills to high school students who have been admitted to KAIST.

Number of openings: 10 instructors

Requirements: Applicants must have an E1/F type visa, not an E2 visa.

Master’s degree preferred in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or Linguistics; native fluency.

Job description:

All classes and meetings will be in-person at KAIST (Daejeon Main Campus).

*There will be an orientation prior to the start of the camp via Zoom.

The Department of Language Education (DLE) at HANDONG GLOBAL UNIVERSITY (HGU), located in Pohang, South Korea, invites applications for full-time lecturers of English as a Foreign Language for the Spring semester of 2027. .

Fluent/Native English speaker.

Responsibilities:

Teach 15 class credit hours per semester (30 class credit hours per year). Maintain regular office hours. Actively participate in weekly committee and department meetings.

Assist in placement testing of students if required.

Spring and fall semesters are each 16 weeks long. Professors need to be on campus approximately 2 weeks before the semester begins and must attend university faculty retreats held prior to the beginning of each semester. Professors are also expected to teach one 3-week intensive credit class per academic year (either during the summer or winter vacation) if called upon to do so, and will be paid at the HGU overtime rate.

DLE Professors primarily teach undergraduate academic English classes during the daytime on a Monday/Thursday and Tuesday/Friday schedule. Wednesdays are set aside for faculty chapel, department meetings, and interaction with students.

Benefits:

Salary: M.A. candidates with at least 3 years of post-degree university teaching experience will begin with a yearly salary of 35,964,000 won (including pension contributions), with incremental increases for each additional year of teaching experience. Base salary could be higher depending on years of relevant work experience.

REQUIREMENTS

- Fluent, clear, and confident spoken English

- Friendly, responsible, punctual, and energetic

- Comfortable playing and interacting with children ages 4-9

- Weekend and/or public-holiday availability (depends on branch)

- Legally eligible to work in Korea: H-1 or F visa (F visa preferred)

* We cannot hire student visa holders.

Nice to have (not required): tutoring, teaching, childcare, camp, or kids' program experience.

• Currently holding a valid Korean visa: F2, F4, F5, F6, E1, E2, C4

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited four-year university in one of the 7 countries above
