How to Use
Click on the talk & type icon when you are ready to speak.
You will see the microphone icon pulsing red in the upper left of your screen when it begins typing what you say.
Click on the microphone icon to start and stop typing as you speak.
In addition to the Google Docs Toolbar, Talk & Type is found on the Web Toolbar and the Slides Toolbar
Beneficial for students who struggle with getting their thoughts on a page such as those with mobility issues, dyslexia, keyboarding issues and for those who are learning English.
Tool will type at rate of speech rather than at rate of fingers
Allows students to record their thoughts in writing quickly, before they are forgotten
