Welcome to a hub of information from your Nova Scotia Works School Liaison. I'm part of the family at Middleton Regional High, West Kings District High School and Northeast Kings Education Centre and available year-round to encourage students in grades 7-12 as they develop employability skills and connect to employment. Families and caregivers can connect too for youth-focused resources as they play key roles in a young person's quest to develop skills and find meaningful work. ❤️ Melanie

If you're a student at MRHS, WKDHS or NKEC, we can meet at school, at the Nova Scotia Works office near you or virtually.

Youth-focused workshops are occasionally offered on in-service days at our Nova Scotia Works locations. Check the PeopleWorx website peopleworx.ca/events and the Opportunity Board at your school for details.

The Nova Scotia Works School Liaison program https://novascotiaworks.ca is a joint partnership between the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and the Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration.

Public high schools have access to a Nova Scotia Works School Liaison https://careerpathways.ednet.ns.ca to provide employment-related resources and information to students and as a resource for families/caregivers as they support youth to chart their career paths and explore the world of work.
