Book spine poetry is a type of “found” poetry, as it uses pre-written words to create a poem. Most don't rhyme or fit a particular poetic structure. It's just a stack of books, artfully arranged, where each title is a line in the poem.
HRCE Librarians put on a Spine poetry contest every year between the high schoolers. This year it is running from April 2 - April 26 2024. A winner will be chosen on May 6 2024.
