I have been teaching since 2008 when I graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with my B.Ed. Before that I attended St. FX where I completed a double major in Math & Computer Science and Modern Languages. I am currently working on my Diploma in Educational Technology at CBU and am excited to be teaching at BEC.

I have two beautiful children. Emmett is 4 and loves building legos. He takes everything apart and loves superheros. Casey is 1 and loves to dance. She does not sleep and will eat anything you put in front of here (even if it's not food).

I love all things animal. If I could get away with it I would have a zoo. We currently have a 3 year old boarder collie / husky mix named Piper and 2 cats. Roxie is 7 years old. Her full name is Rocksalt the Abominable Snow Kitten. Walter is 5 years old but he is an old man at heart.

Scratch that. I am a huge nerd. I love all things tech. I love building hardward, designing programs, coding and anything else technology. I also nerd out on things like Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Star Trek, Comic Books, Board Games and Puzzles. I have an escape room obsession and I get a little to hyped up about math (as you will probably find out).
