Course Assessment

Assessment is the process of gathering, from a variety of sources, information that accurately reflects how well a student is achieving the learning outcomes in a subject or course. 

Formative Assessment

To monitor student learning to provide ongoing feedback that can be used by the teacher to improve their teaching and by students to improve their learning.

Summative Assessment

To evaluate student learning at the end of an instructional unit by comparing it against course outcomes.
