Welcome to L.E. Shaw Elementary School
L. E. Shaw is a Pre-Primary to Grade 5 Elementary School with a population of 132 students. Our school was opened in September 1950 and is named in the honor of Lloyd Ethelburt Shaw, a member of the Shaw Brick family.
Our teachers and staff provide our students with a safe and caring learning environment. We work together to create a positive atmosphere that cultivates mutual support and respect. We challenge all students to do their best, while providing all the support they need to overcome any challenges they may face.

8:00am - Announcements and O'Canada
8:05am - Classes begin
10:05am - Recess
10:20am - Students come in from recess
12:25pm - Downstairs Classrooms eat lunch
- Upstairs Classrooms lunch recess
12:40pm - Upstairs Classrooms eat lunch
- Downstairs Classrooms lunch recess
1:00pm - Students head back to class
2:05pm - Students head to the buses
2:10pm - Buses leave the school yard
3:00pm - School Office Closes
