Kings County Adult High School offers programming for a variety of individuals.
Students come to us for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to:
Completing a high school diploma
Upgrading courses to meet post-secondary admission requirements
Additional courses to meet post-secondary admission requirements
A "refresh" before beginning a new program
A variety of course offerings are available to students.
KCAHS offers two types of High School Graduation Diplomas to best suit individual needs.
NS High School Graduation Diploma (18 Credits)
13 required credits; 5 electives
Maximum of 7 credits at grade 10 level; minimum of 5 credits at grade 12 level
This diploma is best suited to students who have already earned a number of high school credits.

NS High School Graduation Diploma for Adults (12 Credits)
6 required credits; 6 electives
Only grade 11 and 12 courses qualify
This diploma is available to all KCAHS students, and is the recommended option for those with few credits or who have been out of school for some time.
