Welcome to our vibrant Pre-Primary to Grade 12 school, proudly serving the communities of Long Island and Brier Island off Digby Neck. Guided by Principal Casie Melanson and Vice Principal Scott Webster, our school is a welcoming place where students are supported, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Drop Off: Doors open at 8:10 AM. Students can be dropped off at the front door. Parents are not permitted to walk students to lockers/classes.

Visiting: All parents and visitors must stop at the office when they arrive. Parents/Visitors are not permitted past the office.

Pick Up: At the end of the day pick up occurs after the busses have left the parking lot, typically around 2:32 PM.

Any child who will be 5 (five) years of age on or before December 31, 2026, is eligible to attend school in September 2026.

Parents are asked to contact their Islands Consolidated School (902-839-6300) as soon as possible to pre-register their eligible children for school in September 2026.  Formal registrations will be conducted by the schools at a later date. 

It is the policy of the Tri-County Regional Centre for Education that students attend the school in the area in which they live, unless student transfers are permitted in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.  For further information on transfers and current boundaries, please contact us at ICS.
