Award winning poet and novelist Andre Fenton will lead young writers through warmup and writing activities designed to help them create wordscapes and works that they can share over a 6 week period. This Program runs on Monday evenings, from 6-7 p.m. and will start on November 7th. It will run weekly until December 13th.
Andre Fenton is an award-winning author, spoken-word artist, and filmmaker who has represented Halifax at seven national poetry slams across Canada. He has four previous books: a collection of poetry, Ode to Teen Angst, and 3 YA novels, Worthy of Love, Annaka, and The Summer Between Us. He is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
