Tech Ed 9

Technology Education 7–9 offers students a broad range of design challenge learning activities under the following topics at all three grade levels:

•    Communications Technology

•    Energy Engineering

•    Inventions and Innovations

•    Production Technology

These modules allow all students to experience design-and-make tasks that employ the Design Process to solve a range of problems while demonstrating appropriate measuring skills, safe practices, environmental responsibility, technical drawing skills, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) connections.

The curriculum guide provides a variety of design challenges as well as suggestions to help teachers design their own design-and-make tasks and design challenge activities within the outcomes framework.
