The impact of human beings on Planet Earth has reached a critical stage. This course is a global view of the state of our planet, how it got to this stage and the interdependency between humankind and the earth's ecosystems. There are five major units: The Global Geographer, The Planet Earth, Population, Resources, and Urbanization. Students will be expected to engage in various skills and methods used by geographers such as interpreting and creating maps, and collecting and analyzing data to help solve geographical problems.
