Healthy Coping Strategies
Talk with people you trust.
Maintain basic self care: get healthy amounts of rest, eat regular meals, incorporate exercise and movement in your day.
Try to have a comfortable daily routine (i.e. meal times, bed time, etc.)
Stay connected to your support system (e.g. family, partners, friends, pets, community) whether this is in person, or virtually.
Pursue your passions and engage in your normal hobbies (don't feel guilty about finding pleasure in your life).
Practice stress management techniques (e.g. meditation, mindfulness, progressive muscle relaxation, etc.).
Embrace your spirituality or other belief systems.
Avoid using alcohol or drugs.
