Home Tasks
Home tasks are assigned each week to enhance student learning, providing students with an opportunity to practice what they are learning in class. The home tasks allows students to prepare information or materials for future learning activities, to practice new knowledge and skills, and enrich a student's understanding of a topic and apply it in new ways. WEEKLY HOME TASKS OUTLINE
Students will read for 20 minutes each night.
Students will practice their multiplication and division facts (fact fluency) for 5 to 10 minutes each night.
Students will be a given a math sheet to complete each week that relates to the material being learned in class. This will provide the students with an opportunity to check their understanding of the mathematical concepts / skills being learned in class. The sheet will be given on Monday and due on Friday of the same week.
