The Nova Scotia School Insurance Program (SIP) is a not-for-profit organization owned and governed by the school boards of Nova Scotia. As you know, SIP has purchased the student accident insurance “Basic Plan” for all registered students at no cost to the students, parents or school boards since 1988.
Gold Plan May Be Purchased To Enhance The Free Coverage Above
In recent years, we have been sending an electronic version of our Gold Plan flyer to all schools in the Province. The “Gold Plan” is available for purchase which enhances basic coverage for students to 24-7 for 365 days. The cost of the plan per year is $14.00 per student and $35.00 if there are 3 or more students in a family.
Nova Scotia Homework Hub for Mathematics is a free online resource for students grades 4 through 12, including free tutoring sessions. Student can access this resource through their GNSPES accounts or by calling 1-888-444-6607. To access a tutor over the phone, a PIN number is required.
