Applications for the Amy Farnell Education award 2022-2023 are OPEN!

In honour of long-time supporter and cherished friend Amy Farnell, Autism Nova Scotia and the Craig Foundation are delighted to present this award to eligible Nova Scotian students who identify as being on the autism spectrum, and who have been accepted into a full-time post-secondary program.

Autism NS South Shore Chapter Bursary

Eligibility:


  1. Must be a graduating student from a high school in Lunenburg/Queens Counties with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or Asperger’s Syndrome.

  2. Applicant must provide:

  • Proof of acceptance at a recognized post-secondary institution (University or Community College) for a full time program

  • Documented proof of diagnosis either from medical doctor or registered psychologist.

  • Letter of reference from either School Administration, Guidance Counsellor, or Learning Support Teacher

  • Student written summary of proposed education plan


Deadline: Application forms must be submitted by May 20th, 2022.
