Hey everyone! My name is Zeynep and I am a 20 year old Turkish girl who is currently an international student in Milan, Italy. I’m about to enter my last year of undergraduate studies in international politics and government. Apart from trying to navigate my life in a different culture and exploring who I am, I hang out with my friends, visit new places, read and watch whatever I find interesting in that moment, and participate in international experiences that widen my horizons. I have been with CCL as a team member, a team leader, and an intern coordinator.
What's an image description? An image description is a written explanation of a photo or graphic that conveys the same information to someone who is blind or visually impaired as the image itself does to a sighted viewer. It's different from an image caption, which often conveys different information from the image itself (like when a photo was taken).
The program Overcoming Bias in AI is implemented by Global Nomads Group and is supported by the J. Christopher Stevens Virtual Exchange Initiative (JCSVEI). JCSVEI is a U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs program administered by the Aspen Institute.
